I wonder if the parish council is aware of any intention NYCC Highways have to resurface Priory Place. It has been in a disgusting state for well over a a year now and is naturally getting worse. I have made representations to the Highways dep. but did not receive a reply. I have even mentioned it to our esteemed MP who said she would contact them however they seem determined to ignore the subject.

Re: the new wild flower bed
I would like to suggest to the Council that they consider a plaque to be placed on the green bench (in front of the wild flower garden) in recognition of the hard work undertaken by Carol Robinson in creating this beautiful garden. As Carol has now retired from the Council it would be a fitting 'send-off' for her? Could you please add this suggestion to your next meeting agenda? Thankyou for your consideration, Lyn Elliot, 3 Osgodby Lane

I live at the end of Redcliff Close Osgodby, (a cul-de-sac).
Yesterday, I was shocked to see a small white car (reg endingYXA) racing past at about 30mph...it then almost took off as it breached the pavement (without slowing) & shot over the Footpath leading to another Cul-de Sac at the other side, Valley Grove on the Mariner Rise development. The area of land that the Foot path goes through (which was supposed to be landscaped) is full of weeds & wild flowers around hip high which obliterates the view of any small children that often play there. We need permanent solid barriers here to prevent this happening. It has been an issue since the estate was built & if something isn't done to prevent this obvious & serious danger to pedestrians it can only end badly.

For the attention of Carol Robinson and for discussion at the next council meeting on Tuesday 5 May 2026.
Regarding the trimming of large tree in the rec field by the Uptake and it hangs over my garden at 12 Stuart Close.
This tree used to be trimmed with the others but hasn’t been done since at least 2020. Apart from taking light away, the branches shed their leaves etc into my garden after my gardener has done the final end of year work. So my garden is full of the leaves and debris. If this could be discussed please. I don’t want the wild life and birds to be disturbed so it would need doing before nesting etc.
Thanking you for an excellent community spirit and taking care of the resident’s needs and providing a beautiful village to live in. I am contactable at the email address provided.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Best wishes.

For The Attention of Stephen Crosby
Good evening is it possible to have a word with Kamy about tidying up the area at the front of his shop. It is quite an eyesore when we look across at it from our house, rubbish overflowing from bins, broken windows, wood scattered around. Also in the summertime when the takeaway is closed youths congregate outside sometimes until the early hours talking etc. taking advantage of the seating/table. Can he be asked to move these to the side of the takeaway at night when premises are closed? The adjoining shop also looks very unkept and the fascia needs a good paint. We would assume it is in his own interest to tidy this shop up as we know he is trying to rent it out.Thank you for any assistance you can give with this matter.

Hi all! I find it most concerning that digital ID is being brought in against the wishes of the people. This will, of course, lead to Central Bank Digital Currency and social credit like they have in China! Please refuse digital ID or you will regret it! Digital meat rations are just the start!

To the Clerk
Would it be possible to give a presentation to your councillors regarding the Timed bank project that we are running in Eastfield. We are hopping to expend it to adjoining areas. Cllr Steve Crosby had invited us but thought it appropriate to approach yourself. Tel: 01723480041
Kind Regards
